Supply Planning & Production Manager
Overview
Eden Scott is working exclusively with a leading drinks business to recruit an experienced Head of Planning & Production. This is a new strategic role for the business covering both demand and supply planning as well as the production team. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for delivering product to market to meet planned demand, whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and productivity. You will lead the strategic development of the bottling supply function from a system, competency and capacity perspective. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a proven track record within FMCG and as a result an excellent base salary and package is on offer to attract the very best. Responsibilities Develop and manage the bottling supply to achieve short, medium and long-term business goals covering demand planning, production planning and production processes. Ensure all regulatory requirements are met and the company is compliant e.g. H&S, Environmental, food safety and labelling requirements. Manage the safety performance of the site. Effectively manage the team to ensure that production quality, performance and budget targets are met. Responsible for controlling and minimising costs and losses during production particularly through implementation of continuous improvement principles. Sponsor and justify upgrades and new installation. Maintain assets and establishment of maintenance / replacement programmes. Deliver continuous improvement projects through change, innovation and optimisation of resources. Manage contract packaging. Requirements Degree level or equivalent experience Proven and established experience in a leadership role in the food and drink industry Proven track record of team development Numerate with financial and budgeting experience Strong communicator with excellent presentation skills NEBOSH Certified - desirable Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity, apply now.
