Production Engineer (Electronics) £27K-£40K Dependent on Experience

JOB- Production Engineer (Electronics) LOCATION- Dorset TERM- Permanent SALARY- £27,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience) We are looking for Production Engineer on a permanent basis in the Dorset area with experience in the Electronics industry. As part of a busy and varied manufacturing Team, they are looking for someone to take on the challenge of improving and streamlining their PCB assembly processes. The Production Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: Recent experience within the Electronics assemblies essential Basic knowledge of PCB’s Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written Be a Time Served Engineer / HNC / HND qualified Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude Good problem-solving skills Be able to work well alone as well as part of a team Experience working with MRP/ERP systems The Production Engineer role will involve: Writing detailed instructions for manufactured parts from drawings Producing comprehensive and compliant BOM structures Required to provide technical and practical support to manufacturing processes Communicating between procurement, suppliers and sub-contractors Raising PP's and concessions Creating detailed estimates for RFQ's Assisting with planning from time to time when required Creating routings, listing all internal and external operations If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV to find out more, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
