Overview
My client is currently looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join their team in central Manchester. The successful candidate will be providing technical, research and administrative support to the Director Advisers who are key advisers to HNW private clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Providing technical, research and administrative support Production of compliant and detailed client suitability reports and presentations Help manage client relationship and taking/making calls in a polite and professional manner Attendance at client meetings Keeping full and compliant records on file Liaising with advisers on a regular basis, to work on cases and provide updates Prioritising workload in order to meet all deadlines Able to work on cases with minimum support Occasionally taking on project work and assignments Supporting and training Trainee Paraplanners THE CANDIDATE Full Diploma is desirable (or recognised equivalent). Additional advanced papers an advantage but not essential Willingness to develop, taking further qualifications with full support of the employer Good knowledge across all advice areas (investment, pensions, protection but not mortgages) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Good understanding of the financial planning process and a knowledge of the financial services world Excellent report writing skills and have a high technical knowledge Good IT skills, ideally knowledge of Adviser Office and Analytics from Financial Express Be able to plan and prioritise your own workload and work with the minimum of supervision Visit the IDEX Consulting Ltd website for further opportunities.
