Java Developer - SC Level SECURITY CLEARANCE ESSENTIAL Croydon | Contract | Java | Spring Boot | TDD | Cloud | IR35 Java Developer required on a 6-month rolling contract based in Croydon. You will require Security Clearance at SC Level to be eligible for this role. Unfortunately, candidates without SC level clearance will not be considered for this role. This contract sits within IR35 and requires Java Developers to contract via an Umbrella Company. The programme is predicted to last a minimum of 2 years. Java Developers are required to have strong experience building Java API Services , working with Spring Boot and CI/CD DevOps Pipelines. Java Developers should also have experience of working in agile environments and be comfortable doing TDD . Java Developers must security clearance. There are multiple roles available for Senior and Hands on Lead Java Developers Location: Croydon Duration: 6 months rolling (within IR35) Rate: Flexible based on experience. Java Developer Experience: 3 years as a Software Engineer working with Java. Strong experience building and supporting API's Spring Boot - essential. CI/CD, using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Maven (or similar) Experience of doing TDD Experience with deploying to public cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP) Java Developer Desirable Experience. Due to the range of roles available, those with hands on leadership experience are also urged to apply. This is a long term programme that would suit experienced agile Java Developers. You will ideally be available immediately however those with a 2 week notice period will be considered.
