Job description: As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive maintenance function covering plant, equipment and auxiliary services and will continuously strive to improve asset performance by engaging in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities. Roles and responsibilities: Ensure that all H&S procedures, engineering best practice are always adhered to Maintenance of packaging, production, filling and weighing machinery. Accurate & timely records are entered and recorded on all work carried out, root causes of failures and of spares/consumables used Reactive maintenance taking appropriate action to resolve, then report and document actions taken. Escalate issues to the Engineering Plant Manager as advised by the company escalation procedure Monitor the performance of equipment when running, and discuss any issues and improvements with Production Shift Managers, Shift Team Leaders and Operators In addition, you will be involved in projects within the business to develop an effective engineering install and commissioning.
