Overview
Techsearch, the technical division of Staffline , are currently recruiting for Process Operatives / Technicians on behalf of a market leading FMCG product manufacturer based at their Derby site. Job Role – Process Technician / Operative Salary – Banding between £31,000 - £34,000 per annum (depending on skill experience) Shift Pattern – Rotating Continentals Location - Derby Summary – This role requires the ability to provide a level of technical expertise within a specific area to maximise the productivity and achievement of targets of the team\line\plant, in a high-speed production environment (shift working). It involves working in and being responsible for ensuring a safe working manufacturing environment Responsibilities – Perform routine product testing and all quality control checks - taking appropriate remedial action if goods are not within specification Control of line and liquid changeovers Actioning non-conformance of products; where possible identifying and reporting faults with equipment/machinery monitoring and improving manufacturing and engineering processes. Maintain Cleanliness of Process Equipment Area Escalate Equipment Malfunction to Supervisor Experience required – Experience of working in a high speed (FMCG) production environment – preferably Experience of using computers and computer systems in a production environment PMO NVQ 2 PME NVQ 2 Personal Attributes – Good communication skills Self-motivated and able to motivate others Ability to build constructive work relationships and work as part of a team Ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload, reflecting on activity to ensure best practice and continuous improvement Flexible and adaptable approach to work Self starter, able to work on own initiative and able to demonstrate use of initiative as necessary Achievement focussed and able to work in a direct and pressurised environment.
