Overview

Administrator - Reporting to HR Manager Full-time, permanent Salary: £24,000 p.a. DOE Location: Pulborough, West Sussex This role would be based on Reception and would suit an organised and pro-active individual with a background in Administration, with the ability to maintain relationships with a wide range of people, both internally and externally. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, work with meticulous attention to detail and maintain discretion at all times. Duties: Acting as initial point of contact for employees and management HR administration relating to recruitment, training, absence, employee reward and benefits, induction, exit process and administration of performance development process Organising and delivering New Hire HR and H&S inductions, arranging ID passes, administering locker room access and lab coat requirements. Administering and maintaining the HRIS Cascade, updating with new starters, leavers and amendments, creating reports and reviewing and updating data integrity. Highlighting absence trends to the HR Manager and assisting with returners ensuring absence records are up to date Organising and arranging meetings for staff, including arranging refreshments and buffet lunch etc. Providing ad-hoc administrative support to the Executive Team Coordination of Learning and Development for staff on site, booking courses, raising POs, organising training interventions, preparing sponsorship agreements and recording of completed training Ensuring communications are appropriately cascaded as directed using various methods such as newsletters, comms screen, posters and site-wide emails. Preparing and issuing new and revised contracts of employment as directed by the HR Manager Supporting the HR Manager with the administration of appraisals, training needs arising, monitoring objectives and associated metrics for management Overseeing leavers ensuring company property is returned, recorded and exit interviews arranged Administrative support to other functional teams as and when required Responsible for booking travel arrangements for employees travelling for Business Responsibility for adhering to the Company's ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental and Health and Safety management systems The ideal candidate: Previous experience in a similar role Experience with MS Office applications High level attention to detail Proactive and enthusiastic Flexible and demonstrate a strong work ethic Proficient written and verbal communications at all levels of the business Ability to create a sense of trust and personal integrity with employees and management High level of proficiency in HRIS and data integrity Aspires to continuously improve working practices and services Flexibility is essential as the role includes a wide variety of responsibilities and Ability to remain calm under pressure
