Overview
An IFA Operations Manager / Practice Manager is required by a growing firm of independent financial advisers to manage a team of Administrators and oversee the work of the Paraplanners and Advisers. This opportunity has been created as the result of an internal promotion. Your main responsibilities will include Managing a team of 5 Administrators, including recruitment, training and development and performing annual appraisals Processing new business Issuing review meeting letters Preparing Analytics reports Sending out letters of authority and chasing responses Preparing reports, valuations and papers for annual review meetings Undertaking Group Annual reviews - PHI/Life etc. Use of JIRA to manage cases Use of Exweb to produce annuity quotes, whole of life quotes etc. You will ideally have completed (or be working towards) your CII Level 4 Diploma although unqualified candidates with strong, relevant experience will also be considered. You will have extensive experience of working in an IFA environment, probably in an administrative capacity although applications from Advisers and Paraplanners seeking a change in career direction are also welcome. You will ideally have previous managerial experience, although the opportunity could also suit someone with previous supervisory experience seeking their first managerial role. Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential.
