Overview

Children's residential support worker Your new company Our client prides themselves on the care they deliver to the young people they support. They strive to ensure that every young person they support not only have the best support available but the best quality of life. They are a residential service with a modern tone to them. Your new role You will support young people from the age of 11-13 years old. As a support worker you will be helping with the running of the home, supporting to develop independent living skills to enable them to live independently within the community. What you'll need to succeed In this role, communication is key, you will need to be able to communicate effectively with some non-verbal service users. You will also need: At least 6 months experience working within this industry A Full UK Driving licence with access to own transport due to the location of this service You will need to provide 2 employment references as well as being able to provide your proof of right to work within the UK You will need to be passionate and patient You will need a sense of compassion A hard-working approach is essential within this role What you'll get in return This is a challenging job however, highly rewarding.
