Overview
THE COMPANY: Brewster Partners are working with a Worksop based client who are looking for a Maintenance Engineer. THE JOB: Job Purpose: To assist the Maintenance Manager in ensuring the mill runs in a safe and efficient manner, dealing with routine planned maintenance, breakdowns and overseeing onsite maintenance contractors. All tasks to be performed in line within Company and legal Health and Safety procedures. Duties: To carry out the following tasks as required and as determined by the Maintenance Manager:- Ensure equipment is serviced/calibrated as per the maintenance schedule Lubrication schedule is up to date All reported faults are logged and acted on Check sheets filled in Post work sheets filled in All machinery is safely guarded Breakdowns kept to a minimum Taking instructions form the Maintenance Manager, ensure we minimize down time during plant breakdowns at Manton Wood Mill. Following the planned maintenance schedule and after agreement with the Maintenance Manager carry out the tasks requested to minimize breakdowns and loss of production. THE CANDIDATE: Driving license advantage Preferably NVQ level three in Mechanical engineering maintenance or working towards Ideally will have had some hands on experience within a manufacturing environment THE BENEFITS: This role is a 40-hour week contract. Days and afters shifts. Days shift is 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday and afters is 4pm until 2:30am Monday to Thursday.
