Test Automation Engineer - Python - London - Up to £45,000 Great Benefits A forward-thinking fintech business located in heart of London are on the lookout for a talented Test Automation Engineer with strong Python knowledge to ensure new and existing web and application solutions are of the highest quality. This is the chance to work in some of the most exciting and developing areas such as data science and cyber security, in a collaborative and innovative environment working on serverless solutions within the AWS cloud and empowering the DevOps spirit. The Role As the Test Automation Engineer, your daily duties will include, but won't be limited to: Designing and architecting high quality, reliable software tests, including test design, approach, scripts and bugs Writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases from user stories Supporting technology stacks for various projects, leveraging continuous integration and delivery Working with the product teams to ensure solutions are in accordance with requirements About You The ideal candidate will have strong previous experience of software QA methodologies, tools and processes, with knowledge of Python and JavaScript. You will need to have an understanding of test-driven development and test automation frameworks, such as Selenium and Cucumber, as well as knowledge of cloud computing, ideally Amazon Web Services. As the Test Automation Engineer, you will be collaborative in your approach with excellent interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues. You will have a can-do attitude and a passion for technology, thriving in an innovative environment staying up to date with the technologies and trends.
