Plumbing Testing Engineer
Overview
Our Client is a family owned enterprise, providing manufactured shopfittings and installation services. They have recently converted some manufacture space in order to work on modular bathroom manufacture There is a requirement for an experience Plumbing Tester/Inspector to join the team, on an initial ongoing, temporary basis, with a view to become a permanent appointment. This is due to commence ASAP Duties Visual inspections of all final installation pipework to ensure in-line with schematic drawings and quality standards Photographic documentation of all crimped fittings and connections to appliances Fitting of final lagging once checks completed Reporting of defects back into production via tool box talks to ensure issues aren't repeated Installation of pipework and prefabrication of components as required Photographic evidence of testing to be uploaded to online portal Leak and strength testing carried out hot and cold pipework in line with testing flow chart developed, and manufacturers of components Air testing to all waste pipework and stickers applied to each waste once completed Key Requirements include: You must be able to follow design drawings Experience of plumbing within bathrooms or workshop environment Conscientious and reliable with the ability to follow procedures to the letter A hardworking individual with a keen eye for detail A confident person who is willing to work as a team or individually. The candidate must be able to demonstrate testing procedures under pressure during client inspections Candidate must have relevant qualifications to level 3 or higher Candidates will start on an ongoing temporary contract. It will be working on core shift, from 06:00 to 14:30, Monday to Friday, paid 39 hours per week Pay rate is negotiable depending on experience.
