Are you looking for your first break into the world of Automation? If so read on… We are currently recruiting for the UK’s largest and fasted growing FMCG manufacturers. With over a dozen sites just in the Midlands alone, the business has been expanding their operations through a mix of natural growth, acquisitions and reinvestment of profits into new production lines. The business are now looking for ambitious engineers who are looking for their first role in manufacturing, who will receive full on the job training in a variety of fully automated manufacturing lines including blow moulding and injection moulding machines, high speed packaging lines, and printing and labelling equipment. To be considered for the role you will need: To have a Level 3 Electrical Qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, etc…) Be able to fault find using a multimeter. Have performed electrical installation or maintenance work on any single or three phase equipment. The Role Once fully trained, you would be working on a 4 on 4 off shift with 4 other engineers. Day to day would be a mix of Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks and reacting to faults as quickly as possible to minimise the impact of breakdowns. The plant has 15 high speed production lines, each able to produce 15 units a second, so speed and accuracy is paramount Hands on maintenance tasks would be a mix of both mechanical and electrical work.
