(Shift Pattern can be explained in further detail) Shift Engineer required for a market leading and continuously growing manufacturer who have recently opened a new production line with state of the art equipment and machinery. The successful Shift Engineer will be an experienced multi skilled time served engineer with either bias. You will need an Electrical Edition. Previous experience of manufacturing within an FMCG environment ideally. You will need to be conscious of hygiene standards. You will be passionate to learn and improve your skills and knowledge. The company strive to continuously invest in their business and their people. The Shift Engineer Role: Working alongside the engineering team to deal with reactive and preventative maintenance. Electrical Maintenance work would include working on: Single & 3 Phase Electrics, Invertors, Contactors and PLC fault finding. Mechanical Maintenance work would include working on: Conveyors, Rollers, Bearings, Pumps, Cooling systems and Hot Melt. Working across automated, mixing, slicing, wrapping, cooling, packaging and pallet lines. Training and Development will be provided for the further responsibilities below: 75% of this role is hands on maintenance, 25% will be focused on continuous improvement of planned maintenance routines, analysing where issues occur, completing paper work and ordering parts. Project work including installation, commissioning and testing of machines. Monitor day to day machine performance, including establishing future service platforms to maintain or improve machine efficiencies. Collect, record and report accurate and detailed machine data for performance monitoring, quality control and audit purposes. Lead investigations of downtime and potential causes of future downtime. Compile reports, complete actions, update maintenance procedures and train others on findings. The Successful Shift Engineer: You will be an experienced multi skilled time served engineer with either bias. You will need an Electrical Edition.
