DESIGN ENGINEER | MECHANICAL £30K - £32K [D.O.E] Corby, Northamptonshire We have a fabulous opportunity for a Design Engineer with mechanical bias, for a market leading company based in Corby Northamptonshire. Due to company expansion, an opening to join a well, established company, within their Design department, based in Corby, Northamptonshire as a Design Engineer. You will be joining a small design team, within a company, which boasts great service longevity from within their incumbent staff. Title: DESIGN ENGINEER | MECHANICAL Salary: £30K - £32 [D.O.E] Benefits: 28 days holidays, Pension, Free car parking Location: Corby Duration: Permanent Hours: 7.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday 7.00am - 12.30 Friday Start Date: Immediate The successful candidate can expect to progress through the company and improve their skill set within the project-engineering department. This is a technical role that needs a qualified engineer to find solutions to complex problems, Experience of design projects using fabricated and machined components with a proven track record of working for an engineering business. Reporting directly to the Design Director, industry training will be provided however, proven experience of Inventor and AutoCAD is a prerequisite. The ideal candidate would also hold a HND or Engineering certificate in Mechanical engineering. The successful candidate will offer cost effective and creative design solutions to the manufacturability of the equipment and provide practical and cost effective solutions to design modifications whilst offering a forward thinking and self-motivated approach.
