Deputy Clinical Manager, New Forest, Full Time, Permanent, up to £47,000pa Benefits Key Details: I am recruiting for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic to join an Urgent Treatment Centre at Lymington Hospital to join an experienced clinical team providing management, leadership and identify opportunities to implement quality initiatives. Location: Lymington - within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park Salary: £44,000 - £47,000 per annum / £22.56 - £24.10 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week. Further Details about the Role: I am looking to recruit a Deputy Clinical Manager who will provide Clinical management for the delivery of a safe, efficient and a reliable clinical service. They will work closely with the Service Manager, and Service Clinical Lead and Governance Lead. They will form links and develop relationships with secondary care and Primary Care and those working in the wider healthcare community. The post holder will be an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Advanced practice is delivered by experienced registered healthcare practitioners. It is a level of practice characterised by a high level of autonomy and complex decision-making underpinned by masters' level education that encompasses the four pillars of: advanced clinical practice; leadership and management; education of self and others; and research. As the senior clinician in UTC the post holder will provide an expert level of holistic health care for adults and children requiring urgent and unscheduled care. The practitioner will achieve this by using their in-depth knowledge and experience and broad range of techniques to assess, investigate, interpret, diagnose, treat and refer or discharge patients. Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this Deputy Clinical Manager opportunity to possess masters level education meeting requirements for advanced level practice. Must be a non-medical prescriber. Experience in working in an urgent care environment such as A&E and Walk in Centres. Record of on-going CPD and learning. Sound knowledge of clinical governance. Will understand the political agenda and drivers influencing primary care provision. Good management and leadership skills with the ability to influence and negotiate. Good organisational and IT skills desirable. Be able to clear an enhanced DBS.
