Overview
ERS Technical Architect Leeds IR35: In scope Rate: £600 per day Duration: 6 Months ERS Technical Architect required for a large NHS client based in central Leeds to provide technical architecture and governance for an appointment/booking system integration. Key Duties Managing architecture design and change, paying particular attention to the non-functional requirements such as security, performance, scalability, availability, cost and operations, as well as ensuring that architecture documentation is accurate and up to date. Interoperability - delivery of restful (fhir, json) apis to support modern and seamless integrations with external it systems such as those found in primary and secondary care. Web ui refresh - modernising the web application user experience including transition to more modern javascript frameworks, internet first and internet-based authentication Non-functional testing - oversight of the overall approach to non-functional testing, primarily the volume and performance testing ensuring that the load profile remains representative of the live service traffic. Assignment management of more junior technical architecture staff on the programme, supplier management and stakeholder management across all levels and business areas. Skills Sought: Essential Proven track record of cloud-based solution architectures, particularly using AWS Knowledge of and experience of using architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or AWS Well Architected Framework Knowledge of development techniques and development platforms / environments / languages including Java, PHP, and JavaScript Hands on experience of open source server technologies including PostgreSQL, Apache httpd, and Apache Tomcat, Linux, RESTful API design, assurance and management Excellent written and communication skills Management of suppliers and staff Advantageous AWS Solution Architect (Associate or Professional) certification Security clearance via the national vetting service Knowledge of core NHS and healthcare technologies Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
