Overview
Robert Walters is engaged with a Global Services business, which specialises in providing expert services across multiple business units with a true global presence. They employ in excess of 400,000 employees, in addition to NYSE listed. They are recognised as a true industry and market leader. As part of a greenfield programme across Global Information Security, they are now in process of building a greenfield Information Security Hub in their Coventry office, as part of their 'follow the sun model' for Global Information Security services. As such, they are keen to appoint an Information Security Architect, paying a salary range of £50,000 to £60,000 plus bonus and benefits. As an Information Security Architect, you will work provide architecture expertise in the cloud environment, working with EA's to build secure cloud environments. This will result in support business growth internationally. Information Security Architect: Responsibilities Security expertise on cloud architecture control implementation for enterprise-scale projects Technical assistance to Product Development team on secure coding best practices Review against OWASP top 10. Understand emerging security threats Design security architecture to mitigate threats where possible Integrate new information systems into security architecture design Provide input into the development of security roadmap. Assist in the development of policies and procedures Identify, assess and remediate security architecture gaps across the environment. Information Security Architect: Skills Designing and building security architecture and engineering environments on an enterprise level Experience with secure architecture principals, secure SDLC, security device installations, configuration and troubleshooting (e.g., firewall, IDS, etc.) Working knowledge of a broad range of security technologies Experience with IP network designs, including firewalls, network security tools (IDS, WAF, …), routers and switches Experience of information security related technologies and practices Experience of cloud technologies (Azure PaaS, IaaS) and methodologies (DevOps) Understanding of emerging technologies such as a Cloud Platform, Internet of Things and Mobile BYOD as well as the associated security risks The permanent opportunity for an Information Security Architect, will pay a salary range of £50,000 to £60,000 plus bonus and benefits.
