General Ledger Accountant - 3 Month contract - £150 - £220 per day - Bracknell, Berkshire FryerMiles is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of exciting organisation in the Bracknell area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is a General Ledger Accountant seeking a new challenge within a friendly and fast-paced environment that offers great progression and working environment, within modern offices located conveniently in Bracknell. The General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for the following tasks: Assist in ensuring that the financial close is completed each month according to the timetable. Provide assistance to ensure the General Ledger control environment is robust, with key controls operating and appropriately evidenced. Fixed Assets relate to authorised capital expenditure, recognised as in service at the appropriate time and accounted for according to Group accounting policies VAT reporting and submissions are completed on an accurate, timely basis and properly accounted for. Supporting with ad-hoc activities. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with SSC experience that is looking to grow and develop in a friendly and hard working environment. The ideal candidate would be AAT qualified or studying towards the qualification with a desire to progress to a Professional qualification ( CIMA or ACCA). You will have a solid background within a similar type of role and environment, ideally with large ERP experience.
