Overview
Home based permanent position anywhere in the UK - this is exclusive to Ambis. The role is for a Dynamics NAV or Business Central technical & applications person who can give application support to the clients and do some development and customisation work in C- Side and .Net. Salary to £42k; you will rarely have to go into the office or out on client site, but you can be based in their Midlands office near Nottingham if you prefer. The company is a specialist ERP software consultancy, strong in manufacturing and working with a variety of ERP solutions including MS NAV, Dynamics Business Central and 10 other business applications. They have a few dozen clients on the Dynamics NAV side, and there is a constant stream of upgrades and consulting work from these clients including plenty of bespoke requirements that need development work. The other half of the role will be giving application support to these clients, so you need to be comfortable on the phone, a good problem solver and communicator and enjoy the client facing aspects as well as the back-office stuff. So you need to be an experienced MS Dynamics NAV Support Analyst or Consultant who has good NAV C-Side and .Net development skills, is happy working in both roles and is keen to get training in Business Central. You will be joining a £50m software company with over 30 different software solutions in the enterprise space across ERP, MRP, WMS and logistics. So there are lots of interesting projects and a chance to get involved in doing integration work. Why is this a good job? This job would be a natural steppingstone into MS Dynamics NAV consultancy or a pure NAV development role Very nice people, these guys are one of our favourite clients, really decent honest folks They are an ERP company, they sell about 20 different ERP products and solutions, so they know what they are doing, you won't find yourself on an impossible project that has been oversold and under resourced, they aren't like that Working from home is always nice, and if you want to go into the office in the Midlands that is great too. You will be an experienced support consultant working on consulting and mainly working on new Business Central projects (the latest name for MS Dynamics NAV).
