As a Business Assurance Assistant for QBE you will provide support to the Business Assurance Manager for managing areas of governance and projects within our Head of Policy Servicing department Your responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to: Provide daily support for all transactions that fail overnight processing between systems requiring liaison with a number of third parties within short time constraints to ensure no regulatory breaches Build and support tools for the wider teams for trend analysis contribute to the reduction of exception work by providing ideas and solutions for change Document and review current processes along with Solvency II standards and Operational Excellence Provide Business Analysis skills in workshops for the Head of Policy Servicing Opportunities for project contribution will be across regulatory change, operational reporting, audit, training and process improvements You will need to be able to display you have the following qualifications and experience: Advanced excel skills - pivots, macro and data comparison to create, support and run data reporting Analytical ability - to review and summarise large volumes of data, review for underwriting/operational or regulatory breaches Problem solving - understand the bigger picture of system integration and work with third parties to resolve inaccurate transactions Excellent communication skills - verbal and written Business Analysis experience to capture workshop discussion and present back to the Management Team At QBE, we view our people as our most precious asset.
