Overview
Our client, a leading independent Oil & Gas operator, based in Norwich, is currently seeking a HR Assistant to join their team. The desired candidate will have previous HR based experience and be prepared to work at a fast pace within a pressured environment. The role is initially a 12-month contract with the potential for something longer term moving forward. Are you professional and approachable with the ability to prioritise & plan workloads? Do you have excellent attention to detail? Are you enthusiastic with strong administration experience? If so, this could be the role for you Job duties: Payroll processing Employee lifecycle administration Creating records and updating all HR systems and databases Manage onshore and offshore employee’s queries Write and sending basic letters Maintaining employees’ files. Sickness management and monitoring Medicals Process; tracking and booking medicals; and liaising with Occupational Health Logging and authorisation of invoices Updating company intranet Credit card statement management. Coordination of Graduates Support with management of benefit system and administration As the HR Assistant, you will be work as part of the wider HR team and shall report directly to the HR Business Partner. This is a busy role and it is integral to the running and successful delivery of all background HR tasks. You will run an efficient, productive HR Admin function, keeping records up to date and ensuring processes are followed. You will also be required to manage employee queries, ensuring the team is approachable and helpful and completing various tasks assigned by the HR Business Partner. Ideally you will have Previous HR experience and come from a strong administrative background with excellent prioritisation skills. You will be IT literate with experience of working with confidential information.
