Overview
A great opportunity has become available for a Windows Engineer to join a well-established hedge fund based in Central London. The company has enjoyed a good deal of success over recent years and have grown significantly its assets under management. Therefore, my client is looking to scale up the infrastructure and seeking a talented Windows Engineer with strong VMware experience to facilitate that. As a Windows Engineer, you will: Manage the global Windows and Office 365 estate Manage and architect the Windows environment Manage and architect the growing VMware environment Evangelise automation across the Infrastructure team Be an active idea generator when discussing potential problems/solutions/projects Maintain global standards, recommending areas for improvement, and suggesting solutions Essential: Proven track record of managing Windows Server systems/infrastructure and engineering desktop environments Ideally VCP qualified, with extensive experience in architecting, building and maintaining ESX clusters Strong automation/scripting skills as well as configuration management using DSC, Puppet, Ansible or Chef Good understanding of networking technologies Understanding of security standards Desired: MSSQL Administration Experience with AWS/Azure and provisioning tools such as Terraform Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins/TeamCity For more information, please submit a CV.
