Overview

An excellent opportunity has been made available by my client, an established housing provider for an experienced Tenancy Support Officer on a initial three month contract with full time (35) hours per week Monday to Friday 9-5 PM. There is scope for this this role to be extended. The pay rate for this role is between £10.50 to £10.86 PAYE. This role is subject to a enhanced DBS check, the ideal candidate will require a full UK Drivers License and access to a vehicle. As a Tenancy Support Officer, you will be managing a caseload of around 16 clients, providing housing management and resettlement support to adults with a range of support needs. You will have day to day responsibility for providing housing support with an assigned case load of clients and the management and health & safety of those properties. Part of your role will be to carry out initial assessment of the potential or actual service user. You will also be tasked with designing and delivering an effective support plan with the service user. An important part of your role will be to maximise rent collection, ensuring successful housing and other welfare benefit claims are submitted and maintained, taking a pro-active approach to ensure properties are re-let as soon as possible in line with targets. Furthermore, you will need to complete all documentation including tenure agreements, property inventory, disclosure forms and an application for housing benefit with residents to support and sustain a successful tenancy.
