Deputy Manager Autism/Challenging Behaviour

Domus pleased to be working with a fantastic West Midlands based provider to recruit for a Deputy Manager at one of their state of the art residential services on the outskirts of Stourbridge. This is a fantastic service currently rated 'outstanding' with CQC. This organisation provide specialist residential care for people with autism and severe learning difficulties. Candidates wishing to apply must live within a 30 minute commute of Stourbridge. They are paying £25,000 - £27,000 dependent on experience. Key responsibilities: Assisting and supporting the Registered Manager in ensuring all aspects of the home and service is maintained to the highest industry standards. Supervising staff and taking overall responsibility for monitoring care plans, ensuring Service user needs and wishes are acted upon. The ideal candidate: You will need to have at least QCF 3 and prepared to undertake QCF 5 At least five years' experience in a senior role where you will have had responsibility for leading shifts and managing junior staff. Will demonstrate a very good knowledge of Autism and its associated complexities. Will have thorough knowledge of the legislative and inspection framework for adult care homes.
