Overview
Engineering Lead We are partnered with an amazing global intelligence platform business who are going through some really exciting growth in Software Engineering, and they're now looking for an Engineering Lead to grow, build and develop their team. This would be a role focusing on hands on development, technical mentoring and people development. They are flexible in terms of the split of hands on development and people management, and this would be decided by the successful applicant. Being an experienced Lead you will be responsible for the running of the team as well as hiring / building a world class software engineering function. Their technology stack is quite varied due to the large amount of project work, so it would be great if you were technology agnostic and happy to work across different programming languages. You will be: ·Managing and leading a team of 6 Software Engineer's ·Having technical ownership of large parts of the product ·Working closely with Product Owner's to focus on business requirements and translating them to technical solutions ·Maintaining high standards in engineering ·Following agile methodologies To be successful in this role you will need to have: ·5 years experience in Software Engineering ·2 years in team management / mentoring ·Experience in multiple programming languages, ideally Java, Python or Ruby ·Experience in developing and mentoring Engineer's If you are looking for your next challenge to develop an already successful engineering team (ex-Google & Amazon developer's) and build a world class team then this could be the opportunity for you.
