Deputy Home Manager - Registered Nurse West Dumbartonshire Elderly / Dementia Care £19 - £20 per hour Permanent - Full Time - Up to 50% supernumerary Gemini Healthcare are currently seeking a full time Deputy Home Manager - Registered Nurse to join the team at a quality Elderly & Dementia Care Home in West Dumbartonshire. The Role: As Deputy Home Manager - Registered Nurse, you will lead, motivate and mentor your staff team whilst delivering guidance and identifying training and development opportunities to ensure work practices are safe and conform to standards. Up to 50% of this role is supernumerary. The successful Deputy Home Manager - Registered Nurse candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills to enable them to establish personal rapport with existing and potential residents, their families and the multi-disciplinary team. The Deputy Home Manager - Registered Nurse will have a number of responsible duties including but not limited to: Up to 50% of your time will be supernumerary To manage all aspects of the home in the absence of the Home Manager To maintain excellent clinical performance and health & safety standards To support the maintenance of a positive reputation for the Home in the local community To support the attainment of budgeted financial performance; maximising fee levels and exercising sound cost management across the home To help build and maintain a well-motivated and engaged workforce To perform direct nursing duties on a basis agreed with the Home Manager The Person: Qualified and registered with the NMC as a Registered Nurse Either be in a Deputy Manager position currently or a Nurse with experience ready to take the next career step Ambition to lead and advance in this quality organisation Ideally a minimum of 3 years experience in an elderly and dementia care environment - although other candidates will be considered Confident in all areas of care planning and delivery Previous experience of leading a team Great written and verbal skills for communication and understanding Good IT skills and confidence in computer based work In return you'll receive: Competitive rates of pay- Up to £20 to per hour Enhanced rate for hours over contracted 28 days holiday entitlement Additional courses and extra training to advance your career and improve your skills Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme Excellent additional benefits including Perkbox Established, Reputable, Forward Thinking Employer The Service: The client is a privately-owned care provider currently operating several high-quality care homes across the UK.
