Overview
We are working on behalf of an emerging IT Managed Service Provider who have a rapidly expanding client base in the Cheltenham and Gloucester. Due to the ongoing success they require a Senior IT Engineer at 3rd Line Level who is comfortable working on site and is able to consult clients on new technology. The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Technical Support candidate who is confident in the field. If you enjoy a customer facing role and remain keen to be technical hands on this is a great opportunity for you. The successful Technical Consultant will work very closely with a select number of clients planning and implementing the optimum use of Technology whilst Creating IT roadmaps that provides an overview of future activity. Theres a focus on personal development and you will have the opportunity to access technical training, both internal and external to keep you at the top of your game and ahead of the curve Whats needed to be considered A good amount of IT Support background with Field responsibilities Experience working with suppliers and customers in an IT services environment Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, confident managing expectations Experience liaising with multiple internal and external contacts Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Up to date Microsoft certifications A solid technical understanding and experience working with the following technologies: Microsoft Windows Servers 2003, 2008 2012,2013 Exchange 2003 & 2007, 2010 VMware Virtualized servers HP, Dell Servers.
