Cyber Security Architect, Cambridge A leading healthcare organisation we are working with are looking to add to the technical team with a Cyber Security Architect. You will support the IT Enterprise Architect to ensure that all security controls are in place and are being adhered to across the teams / delegated service support staff and or staff who have been given authority to manage local IT services (shadow IT functions). Position Details You will be responsible for providing technical expertise and advice on all areas of cyber security. Working on new deliverables, compliance with legal requirements and national standards as well as managing the risks to the organisation from cyber security threats to support operational services and patient safety. To ensure that the Trust is compliant with other best practise protection from Cyber risks. To ensure that appropriate technical assurance can be measured and reported to the level of compliance and protection that is in place To advise where enhancements and or better protection is required providing details on; risk assessment, options available and risk mitigation plans To provide regular reports to the appropriate boards on Cyber Security activities and protection levels. To join the Technical Architect team which is part of the IT department, working closely with the information governance team. Role Responsibilities Have the ability to lead on the provision of assurance and guidance on designs, solutions and services from a technical cyber security perspective, especially around ensuring compliance of internally delivered systems as well as suppliers systems to the specified requirements. Be capable in providing technical cyber security expertise, advice and support for the Trust management of Cyber Security threats Know and provide technical expertise, advice and support for the Trust management of patching and cyber security alerts Be in charge of the technical projects that are specifically designed to deliver cyber security functionality, and work within the Trust's project management framework using Prince2 principles and review change requests Provide technical cyber security advice and guidance as required to non-technical staff Use technical cyber security expertise, advice and support to the requirement to monitor compliance of the IT contractors, national cyber security standards and contract schedules/deliverables. To provide technical cyber security expertise, advice and support to the development of Trust policies, procedures, standards and strategies, to ensure appropriate policies, procedures and controls are in line with legal, regulatory and best practice requirements.
