Technical Risk Assurance Manager – LONDON/BIRMINGHAM An international financial services consultancy is hiring a Technical Risk Assurance Manager. Join a team of Subject Matter Experts within Risk Assurance from their national and global network, developing your skills across IT Financial Risk and work alongside prestigious clients. RESPONSIBILITIES OF A TECHNICAL RISK ASSURANCE MANAGER Lead the IT Audit requirements for the client portfolio of External IT Audits Knowledge of business requirements for security controls and able to offer support on security risk to non-technical and technical audiences Lead a team supporting a portfolio of IT audit engagements. This includes working alongside the audit team to carefully plan the resources, audit scope and project plan needed to deliver the External IT Audit requirements . Build relationships internally, with promotion of the Advisory Technology and Security services important to creating growth Identify and raise matters with a partner while exercising judgement within agreed parameters Key will be leading bids and tender activities such as meeting prospects, proposal writing and bid document preparation, developing deep internal networks and relationships and bringing new contacts to the Partner & broader team. SKILLS OF A TECHNICAL RISK ASSURANCE MANAGER Audit Support, including ITGC, CAATS & Control Activities CISA/CISM/CISSP (Exam qualified is preferable) A good understanding of Vulnerability and Risk Assessment approaches and methodologies. Good understanding of ISO27001/PCI DSS/ GDPR. Experience performing cyber risk and control gap assessments Inquisitive - able to ask questions of the business users in order to understand information security risk exposure Experience of commercial aspects of a client facing role including putting together proposals & bid documents At least 5-10 years’ experience within information security.
