Overview
Your new company An international organisation operating out of a conveniently located, Gloucestershire based office. Your new role The successful candidate requires a minimum of 3 years of DevOps experience and the ability to demonstrate a proven track record in the following areas: Develop tooling and processes to drive efficiency and improve customer experience Delivery of Infrastructure as Code to ensure consistency across our platform infrastructure Setup system monitoring to ensure service stability and availability; Uptime and system performance metrics to support client SLA reporting Build and release automation to deliver a streamlined and repeatable process Building of new servers and the maintenance of existing Ensure effective security controls are in place across our infrastructure Support Robotic Process Automation activities through infrastructure provision Requirements: Experience of the full software development lifecycle and where DevOps fits in to that Coding and framework skills with languages like Java, C#, PowerShell and Python Good Linux and Windows Server skills to enable infrastructure builds and support Understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMWare Strong skills in networking as it applies to cloud-based applications; DNS, Firewalls, Transport Encryption Experience of source code management tools such as Git and GitHub Good understanding of database technologies and SQL A sound knowledge of industry standard tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Selenium, Docker, Nagios, TeamCity to support automation across all facets of our product development Cloud platform experience with providers such as Amazon, Microsoft or IBM Ability to work with key stakeholders to troubleshoot issue and increase user satisfaction Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and a high-performance culture A positive attitude and desire to succeed What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
