They own and manage some of the UK’s most popular dairy brands. We are recruiting a Shift Engineer to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, rotating days and nights. The purpose to proactively maintain, develop and support all cheese packing plant, control systems and associated equipment to agreed standards and with due regard for health and safety to drive equipment reliability. Key Responsibilities: Drive the TPM agenda throughout manufacturing Develop, maintain an integrated packing operation to agreed H&S, Quality and Engineering standards Optimise preventative maintenance schedules Analyse OEE data and identify improvement actions to address losses Participate and lead continuous improvement activities Coaches team members to carry out asset care and condition monitoring tasks Advanced fault finding techniques for PLC controllers and SCADA systems Required Skills & Experience: Minimum of HNC or above in a relevant engineering discipline Experience in electrical controls, knowledgeable on electrical equipment and systems with a fundamental knowledge of mechanical systems Ability to use CMMS systems Analyse spares usage and shape critical spares process Be able to work independently, as well as part of a team Ability to carry out advanced fault finding of PLC controllers Knowledge of BMS would be desirable Experience within a food processing environment or similar is essential To apply, please send a copy of your CV and a covering letter to Stuart Tomkinson or, alternatively, submit your application via the link below.
