Overview

Meter Performance Analyst MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE Meter Performance Analyst’s role is to measure the performance of all meters in this Energy companies’ portfolio to ensure they continue to meet business, regulators and industry’s targets and comply with license conditions. You will investigate and ensure that all issues preventing meter reads to be sent onto third party and the industry are identified and resolved efficiently and effectively. The management of these processes will impact volume used to generate customers’ bills and will ensure that it reconciles to volume that is used by relevant parties to calculate industry charges. Principle Accountabilities Meter Performance Analyst will: Analyse data submitted by third party agents to ensure that data gaps are bridge to positively impact Regulators’ view of their portfolio to ensure that it remained within acceptable tolerance of targets. Analyse and resolve queries from XOSERVE/CNG relating to Annual Quantity (AQ), metering and consumption issues Analyse portfolio data to minimise volume profiled using estimated consumption provided by the industry and highlight meters where actual meter readings are required to be submitted to the industry Assess consumption trends of meters in the portfolio within the supply period to ensure that volume settled with the industry reflects the customer’s usage accurately and in a timely manner. Liaise with BSC Agents i.e. MAP, MOp and DC to ensure that metering performance continues to meet business and regulator’s targets and comply with license conditions. Validate Metering related charges received from Meter Asset Providers (MAPs), Meter Operators (MOp) and Data Collectors (DC) inclusive of Data Retriever’s (DR) activities to ensure that payment will be made accurately. Reconcile Meter data in the portfolio to industry central databases to ensure records are aligned and action taken where appropriate to update records. Interact with key stakeholders throughout the business and third-party agents to ensure that our metering performance and metering related costs are efficiently managed and meet regulator’s targets. Perform trends, variance and gap analysis as well as able to create data models integrating to existing reports, processes and systems. Document processes performed by the team inclusive of all updates made. Person Specification Essentials: Have strong communication and presentation skills; written and verbal. Can work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Good attention to details. Have a competent user of Microsoft office packages and particularly Excel. Adhering to Principles & Values. Working with People. Delivering Results & Meeting Customer Expectations. Derisible: Industry Experience would be beneficial. Role Competencies Analyse large data set efficiently in EXCEL (VBA, Power BI, formulae, SQL etc.) Perform financial analysis and modelling i.e. trend, gaps, variance etc. Presenting & Communicating Information Writing & Reporting Planning & Organising Adapting & Responding to Change Learning & Researching Persuading & Influencing
