Overview

Wine and spirits knowledge is an advantage and a keen interest in wine is desired Excellent Telephone Spoken English required Fluent in German, Spanish, Italian or French (desirable but not essential) A strong commercial acumen Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the customer and client base Communicate with and handle enquiries of customers via phone, email and live chat Build relationships with relevant suppliers and work cross-functionally with other teams Act on positive and negative feedback whilst maintaining a positive customer-focused attitude at all times Proactively respond to customer queries and liaise with other departments when appropriate; escalate when appropriate Providing regular reports and reviews of sales and KPIs to the Head of Sales. Follow established procedures - such as logging in any major changes Database management, implementation and reporting Managing the database and internal CRM - uploading client details as per company standard Liaise with delivery partners to resolve order delivery queries Support other team members when needed Act as a brand guardian while attending industry events Requirements Minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s degree or similar (English, Language or Business degree preferable) Previous work experience in a customer service role (desirable but not essential) Commercial experience - internships in startups (desirable but not essential) Wine and spirits knowledge is an advantage and a keen interest in wine is desired Excellent communication skills both written and verbal A 'can do’ attitude and thirst for knowledge - you will want to know everything about their customers and the market Fluent in German, Spanish, Italian or French (desirable but not essential) A strong commercial acumen Personal attributes Excellent analytical and reporting skills Data-driven with a strong eye for detail whilst multi-tasking Strategic thinker with a creative flair and can-do attitude
