Overview

Are you a qualified nurse in a non NHS environment, looking to gain NHS ward experience? You will work alongside Registered NHS Nurses in a rehabilitation ward who will guide/mentor you - free DBS and training available, flexible shifts to suit your existing work, and additional benefits. If you have experience in a medical setting, and interested in joining the NHSP Gateway Project to gain access to greater career opportunities within the NHS, then we’d love to hear from you Through the NHSP Gateway project, you will have the opportunity to work in a number of settings at the Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Trust (T&G ICFT). You will initially work for 2 days on one ward alongside one of the trusts highly experienced Registered Nurses who will guide and assess you - should you be successful you will then be invited to join the bank and pick up shifts. The Trust: T&G ICFT has been on a fantastic improvement journey. Within just 3 years, they’ve gone from being rated as 'Inadequate’ by the CQC to being rated as 'Good’ (with some services rated as 'Outstanding’); which is a huge achievement.
