Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Engineer - Computing to join this exciting and growing company within the security industry who are based in Gloucestershire. The main purpose of this Technical Support Engineer - Computing is to provide 3rd line technical support to UK and export customers related to commissioning and fault finding and be able to recreate problems to enable the development department to apply a fix. You will also be involved in assisting the Regional Sales and Business Development teams with all required pre-sales technical support for both end-user customers and reseller partners. You will be required to travel within the UK and Internationally at short notice with up to 2 weeks in duration. Key skills and experience required for Technical Support Engineer - Computing: Degree qualified in a Computing / IT / Software development related discipline Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Driven and ambitious individual willing to learn Previous customer support experience would be ideal but not essential Any knowledge of IT Systems: Microsoft / NEC clusters, MS SQL Databases and MS Operating systems both server and client, would be an advantage This is a great chance for a Technical Support Engineer - Computing to join an exciting and growing company with the chance of career progression.
