Senior Accountant/Client Manager - Regional Firm of Accountants - Up To £45,000 The Role Barber McLelland are working in partnership with a North Nottingham firm of Chartered Accountants who are recruiting for an experienced practice accountant in the role of Senior Accountant or Client Manager. The firm support a diverse portfolio of clients (none audit) across the region, providing these businesses with a full range of accounting, business advisory and taxation services. You would be working in a small but highly experienced team. Duties and Responsibilities Working alongside a highly experienced team of accountants, the role of Senior Accountant/Client Manager will support a diverse portfolio of clients, duties will include: Responsible for a varied client portfolio of small to medium sized owner managed businesses Preparation of Year End and Management Accounts Preparation of Management Information Support client on tax planning (training will be provided) Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns Provide commercial business support Skills and Qualities The successful candidate will be qualified ACA/ACCA with a minimum of 5 year’s experience working within a firm of accountants. Individuals must have developed a broad range of experience within statutory and management accounting along with experience of dealing with clients directly. Applications from individuals who have not taken formal accounting qualifications but have suitable experience are also encouraged. Due to the nature of the role, the business will be happy to train accountants within all areas of tax if they have had no previous exposure. The position can offer long term career prospects for those individuals seeking further promotion. Remuneration Salary - £30,000 - £45,000 (dependent upon experience) Benefits Package Parking The business is based within a short commute of both the Chesterfield and Mansfield region.
