Overview
SME Customer Administrator Full Time Pity Me, Durham 37 hous per week Monday to Friday £9.78 per hour Minimum 3 months (temporary assignment) Key purpose of job To ensure an efficient and effective administration service to the SME Team Key responsibilities Completion of customer contracts Maintaining customer records on appropriate internal and external systems and websites Preparation of financial/statistical information for use with customers To ensure all customer contact queries are logged and completed Supporting with the cyclical billing of customers Supporting the team if necessary in the delivery of debt recovery with customers Handling sensitive data relating to customer accounts Preparing presentations, meeting papers and reports as required Administration of emails, correspondence, telephone calls and filing Liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required. Other reasonable administrative tasks in line with business needs Key Result Areas Deliver a professional, proactive, robust and technically competent administrative service to the Retail team. Positive feedback is received from the team. Administration tasks are carried out to the required quality and to the agreed deadline. Record keeping on appropriate systems for Quality Assurance to ensure team information is always up to date and auditable Prompt handling of customer contracts to ensure an effective level of service to our customers. Efficient logs containing information on all relevant customers within the SME directorate Continuous improvement of the service and support provided Role modelling and a high level of support for our corporate values Person specification:l Proven administration skills Sales processing skills Computer skills: Confident use of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) Literacy and numeracy: Well developed written and verbal communication skills. Able to write clear business letters and emails. Must have a polite, professional telephone manner. Able to make suggestions to managers and others where letters and other documents could be improved and written in plain, simple English, to ensure all communication is accessible to all. Personal attributes: Excellent organisational abilities - able to manage a large workload, achieving high quality results to tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, for team working and interaction with work colleagues Ability to communicate effectively at all levels Ability to prioritise tasks and give attention to detail Confident, tenacious, flexible and able to cope with change.
