Job Title: Sous Chef – Gastro Pub Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience) Location: Lymington, Hampshire Who will you be working for? A successful high-end pub and hospitality group with sites across the South of England. This site in the Hampshire countryside is a beautifully restored gastro pub and boutique hotel. They pride themselves on offering a welcoming atmosphere to locals and tourists alike and a seasonal Modern British menu What are we looking for? A keen Sous Chef with experience working within a busy high-end gastro pub environment who is looking for a new challenge. You’ll be comfortable working to company specs whilst retaining autonomy over seasonal dishes and regular specials. The Sous Chef should be passionate about food and can cook to a high standard whilst successfully helping lead and train an established kitchen brigade. Desirable Qualities: Have recent Sous Chef experience within a busy fresh food premium branded/gastro pub environment Be an ambassador to the brand by leading by example Be creative and be passionate about food Have fantastic knowledge of culinary and food hygiene practices Good working knowledge of stock control, gps and all areas of kitchen management Have own transport as staff accommodation is available but is off-site Does this sound like you?
