Maternity Cover Contract - Accountant

Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit an Accountant - Maternity Leave The company- is an electronics corporate with a presence all over the world. An immediately recognisable brand with a T/O approaching £800m and a workforce in access of 2000. The position- is to support the financial controller in the preparation of month and quarter end accounting. European VAT returns, inter company accounting, fixed assets, standard costings and cost variance analysis. Balance sheet and general ledger accounting, cash management and ensure accurate payment schedules are achieved and reconciliations are accurately recorded.Credit card limits, revalue bank accounts, accruals and prepayments, Ledger analysis, loans, banking and revenue accounting will all be part of these exciting roles. The person:- graduate, possibly qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA comfortable working in a corporate environment. A confident self starter, able to prioritise their workload and work independently - A strong communicator and team player likes to get involved and challenge how things are done - Strong Excel skills useful SAP desirable but not essential.
