Planning Engineer Middlesbrough 6 Month Contract £350 - £400 p/day IR35 Status: In Scope The Background I am recruiting for a Planning Engineer to join one of the UK's leading International Infrastructure groups on a contract basis to work on a project in their Power Transmission & Distribution business unit. As a Planning Engineer you will plan, structure and maintain an accurate programme in line with the contracts requirements. You… To be a successful Planning Engineer you will have: Strong Planning background and proficient in Primavera P6 Operational experience of large scale civil construction projects in in the Power sector such as Cabling and OHL Knowledge of Project Management methodology and NEC3 contracts would be highly beneficial The Role As a Planning Engineer you will: Support the planning and monitoring of all activities within the project programmes Manage the interface between the programme and the operational team through structured meetings, programme & progress reporting Work with the project delivery team to ensure the schedule is resourced (plant and personnel) / cost loaded and update to reflect modifications in execution strategy.
