FURNITURE PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEER Hinckley LE10 £25,000 - £35,000 per annum dependent on experience Looking for the next challenging design role whilst being free to be creative and innovative? Our client creates bespoke furniture for a range of corporate clients and worldwide brands, and they have an amazing opportunity to add a Design Engineer to their passionate team who will co-ordinate their design and customer service functions. Furniture Product Design Engineer Duties and Responsibilities Generating innovative and original design ideas to win new business and service existing customers Produce accurate production drawings relating to quoted items always considering the most cost-effective methods of manufacture in liaison with the Production Manager and Estimator, helping and support other designers when necessary Produce both detailed engineering drawings in line with quotations for client sign off and production drawings, and detailed & accurate drawing for the CNC Machinery Liaise with the Sales Team to take detailed customer design briefs and give advice The preparation of all types of design work, from presentation drawings through to detailed production drawings, using 2D/3D CAD and rendering packages To source and ascertain manufacturing implications for materials applicable to designs generated Responsible for the day to day organisation and prioritisation of the design workload and developing both basic and contemporary standard ranges of corporate furniture Sound good?
