Overview

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced New Homes Customer Service Manager with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and the technical ability to conduct defect inspections in line with NHBC guidelines. You’ll part of team who are responsible for the customer service operation, ensuring that service levels and customer satisfaction are maintained from the point of customer’s completion on a property through the 2-year warranty period. Reporting to the Regional Customer Service Manager, you’ll support the Customer Service Co-ordinators and Operatives across a number of Berkshire based developments. Suitable applicants will have a broad understanding of the build process and previous relevant experience working for a house builder. The ability to build a team ethos both internally, within Customer Service and across other departments, and externally with subcontractors is essential. You have proven management and leadership experience, be action and results orientated and possess good business acumen and commercial judgement. You must have proven written, verbal and listening communication skills, be decisive with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to and negotiate with different types of customers. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00 – 5.30. The role comes with a competitive package including car allowance. Only applicants that have worked in new homes/house building will be considered.
