COMPANY OVERVIEW: Full time Service Engineer to commission, service and repair piling equipment, encompassing hydraulic, electrical and mechanical practices. In-house operation of plant. General duties. After a suitable settling-in period, the applicant will be expected to carry out on site visits within the UK to execute service and repairs of piling equipment. The position will involve some travel overseas. HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: Monday to Friday 08:30-17:30 40 hours 5 hours paid lunch/tea breaks. DESIRED SKILLS: Experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems. Solid IT skills. Methodical approach to solving problems. Good communication skills. Strong knowledge of workshop tools and equipment. Mechanical skills are essential. Possession of a current CSCS Card is essential. SALARY: £28,000 overtime. HOLIDAYS: Annual holiday entitlement is 20 working days statutory bank holidays. PERSONAL QUALITIES: Able to work as part of a team or under own initiative. Sense of humour. Dynamic. Willingness to learn & train. Driven. Mature. Good timekeeping. Flexible. Able to apply orderly work practises. THINGS TO CONSIDER: There will be on site visits which could attract additional hours outside of those of a normal working day. Applicants should possess a full, clean UK driving licence.
