Overview
Climb Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading company in the Sheffield area Role: Process Engineer The Process Engineer would responsible for oversight, operation and implementation of the process. The successful candidate will work with the production and technical teams to maintain high standards, produce documentation, and ensure best practice is being followed. Description of requirements Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes Understand relevant standards and ensure the business is adhering to these requirements Devise and review specifications for products or processes Work with Production Manager to oversee product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards and assess production processes Work with Production Manager to design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes Work with Production Manager to ensure best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output from risk register Work with Production Manager to perform and write up risk assessments Write up process documentation and standard operating procedures Inspect final output, compare properties to requirements, and write certification documents Keep accurate and up to date documentation, including SOPs, maintenance records, and service records. Any reasonable task as requested by the Technical Manager, Production Manager. Keep in close communication with Technical and Production managers Maintain high levels of housekeeping Adhere to the company H&S policy Skills and Qualifications: Formal higher qualification, ie: BEng, BSc, BA etc. High standard of written English Proficient in MS Office Outstanding communication skills A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach Confident to raise issues Excellent organisational and file management skills Preferable Prior experience working under ISO 9100 Prior experience with specialist QMS software Familiarity with health and safety regulations In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards Prior experience in quality management, process engineering, or similar.
