About our opportunity… Reporting to the General Manager of Palaris Europe and working with a specialised technical team providing mine finance advisory services, this role is based in London or Perth (subject to in-country residency requirements) and is a pivotal role in our metals group. Working across a range of assets and multiple commodities across continents, a key focus of the role is the provision of mine finance due diligence and independent technical engineer for major international banks. You will also support loan monitoring, optimisation, benchmarking performance and costs metrics. You will fulfil the role of Study Manager and Principal Process Engineer for feasibility studies as required and be involved in design reviews. About you You will have significant industry experience underpinned by a degree in metallurgy or mineral processing. During your career you will have had experience in test work development, flowsheet design and feasibility study compilation. Exposure to gold and base metals is highly desirable. Exposure to operational roles would also be well regarded. Your ability to multi-task means you are able to ensure successful completion of projects. Your analytical approach, innate intelligence and highly developed written skills means you can develop concise and insightful reports and presentations. As technical expert, this is a client facing role, so your ability to develop strong business networks and working relationships will be pivotal.
