DevOps Lead/Microservices Architect, York £80k This company's vision is to create a state-of-the art solution with a service layer based on microservices to integrate and extend the functionality of their systems. Play a pivotal role in this company's future by being the 'go to person' for DevOps and helping them build their DevOps and Microservices function from the ground up. They are looking to build a service layer from scratch with Azure to improve the scalability of their existing systems as the company looks to continue the 3x growth they had last year and take their business international. (headcount grew from 32 to 100 last year) This Service platform must be able to support an existing base of 1000's of end-users and must be scalable to serve far more. The team: Will consist of a lead developer, operations teams and data analysts but you will be setting the pace and leading from the front, establishing your idea of a DevOps culture Tools you/the team will be working with: CI/CD pipelines (preferably Jenkins/Bamboo) C#/.net Core and HTML5/Angular JIRA/Github/BitBucket Rest APIs and catalogues (Swagger/Azure Data Catalogue Azure and Azure DevOps Docker and Kubernetes
