Overview
Our client is a leading telecoms company currently working on several FTTH contracts across the region. Due to growth, they have an immediate requirement for an experienced Utility Coordinator. Key Essentials: You should ideally come from a discipline in the telecoms industry including civils, fibre splicing, streetworks or scheduling This role will involve supporting Project Managers on a busy telecom’s fibre contract, acting as a point of contact for obtaining regular progress updates from Supervisors and teams Responsible for ensuring that works are scheduled according to required guidelines Ensuring that all streetwork permits are obtained within scheduled timescales Analyse work orders to identify any required traffic management or potential issues that could affect the works being carried out. Ensuring these are dealt with and escalated to the relevant parties Managing a diary of works; ensuring all targets and deadlines are met according to client specifications Preparing reports for ongoing and completed works; ensuring the client is kept up to date with works progress Regularly liaising with management to ensure that all completed works are recorded, logged and invoiced accordingly Ensure that as-built drawing are completed Ensuring all customer complaints and issues are accurately recorded and passed on the relevant department Requirements: You should have previous experience in the telecoms industry; full training can be provided in the role for the successful individual Good knowledge of telecoms networks (overhead or underground) You will need to be well organised, an excellent communicator and confident in the workplace This position offers excellent career growth potential and would suit an individual who is keen to develop and progress Due to the nature of this position, it is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence NRSWA streetwork utilities utility power gas telecom ftth fttp fttc fttx fibre node overhead underground water highways excavation permit notice reinstatement FPN section74 planner schedule management KPI projectcoordinator projectmanager projectadministrator technicalcoordinator
