You and your role As a Solution Architect you will help us make the best use of existing technology, and make considered decisions about future technology investments needed to transform our technology architecture. You will support the development of our Architecture practice by sharing best practice and reference architectures to ensure consistency and coherence of architecture design across domains. You will build relationships and work collaboratively with Enterprise Architects, Domain Architects, Lead Architects and Engineering teams to design and implement solutions according to agreed and approved architecture principles.You are comfortable working in a multi supplier environment/platform, managing high-level stakeholder requirements through to solution design and on to implementation and delivery. About You For this role we welcome applications from those with practical experience across a number of the following 'specialisms', with digital methodologies and ways of thinking at the heart of what you do: Architecture design and modelling techniques, tools and standards Microservice and API-led architectures, techniques and best practice Software architecture, frameworks, technologies, tools and best practice Application integration architectures, frameworks, technologies, tools and best practice Cloud technologies, e.g. AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, cloud hosting and design patterns, tools and best practice Agile / DevOps delivery methodologies and best practice Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) delivery methodologies, tools and best practice.
