Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Chippenham area for a full-time Azure / Office365 Technical Engineer. This is a great opportunity for an experienced 3rd line IT Support Engineer to become the next integral part of a rapidly expanding team and business. Working as a key escalation point for the Service Desk team, while incorporating exciting opportunities for project and infrastructure work. Seeking a proven technical professional, equipped with the skills and ability to deliver service at the extremely high standard. An enthusiastic "can do" individual who will be a welcomed addition to a positive team in a great environment. You will have the willingness to learn from others and educate the more junior members of the team, while striving to benefit and add value for customers. Essentials skills / experience Exceptional customer service skills Experience working on a service desk to include incident, problem and change management Methodical approach to problem-solving Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2016, 2019 Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP Experience of working within an IT Security framework Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 & Azure Managing wired and wireless networks, including switches, routers, firewalls Technical backup and disaster recovery Desirable Skills Pre-sales consultancy experience (scoping, design, deployment & tenders) Microsoft Azure / Office 365 / Modern Desktop certifications Advanced networking, VLANs, STP, LACP Secure networking, VPNs, ACL, IPS, IDS SonicWALL security appliances Microsoft SQL, Power BI, Data Visualisation Penetration Testing / Vulnerability Scanning Benefits Unlimited holiday Great working atmosphere and environment Development & training opportunities Lots of employee socials and events Bonuses and wage increases And of course, you get to work for a fast-growing, modern, market leader Salary please call or email me further information. 37.5 hours a week Monday - Friday , due to the nature of the job some work at weekends and outside of normal hours may be required. Travel to customer sites will be required so a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential. This role requires a DBS to be carried out.
